According to this document, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province requested the Ben Tre Provincial Police to direct departments, professional units and district-level police in the area to proactively grasp the situation, coordinate with local authorities to strengthen the inspection of waste sources in the province, especially large waste sources, waste sources with the risk of causing environmental incidents, control and supervise the implementation of environmental protection laws in the transfer, collection, transportation and treatment of solid waste. At the same time, promptly detect and strictly handle violations of waste management by individuals and organizations in the province and recommend competent authorities to handle them according to current law provisions.
The People's Committee of Ben Tre province requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to arrange and assign forces to be on duty, receive and process hotline information on environmental pollution, proactively mobilize forces to resolve, handle and remedy environmental pollution (if any) quickly and effectively and strictly handle violations of environmental protection laws.
Regarding An Hiep landfill (Ba Tri district), Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to continue to closely monitor, direct and send technical experts to support and guide Ba Tri District People's Committee to effectively implement the work of receiving and treating waste at An Hiep landfill, especially solutions to effectively control odors and leachate generated during the process of receiving and treating waste. In addition, for landfills in the districts, the districts regularly monitor, inspect and guide localities to effectively implement technical solutions to prevent and control risks of environmental pollution caused by waste at landfills.

Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee requests district-level People's Committees in the area to proactively arrange sufficient on-site resources to ensure readiness to promptly mobilize and handle environmental pollution or environmental incidents quickly and effectively. In addition, arrange and assign forces to receive and process information and feedback on environmental pollution and direct timely resolution to prevent the emergence of environmental pollution hotspots.
As for the People's Committee of Ba Tri district, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province requested this unit to direct the Urban Traffic Works Management Board and Environmental Sanitation to arrange enough staff (operating staff, technical staff) with full equipment, means and necessary biochemical products to perform well the operation of An Hiep landfill, especially when the amount of waste increases during the Lunar New Year 2025, not allowing odors and leachate to diffuse outside the landfill premises, affecting the environment and the "spring festival, Tet" activities of people in the area. At the same time, assign leaders to be on duty, receive information and feedback from people and the Community Monitoring Board to promptly direct the immediate handling of environmental issues arising related to the landfill.
