On May 31, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Da Nang City Police said that in the process of performing tasks to ensure traffic order and safety on the opening night of DIFF 2026, the unit promptly supported many cases of people in need of urgent assistance.
At about 10 pm on May 30, on Tran Hung Dao street, a working group led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phan Ngoc Tien received information that Ms. N.D, born in 1995, residing in An Hai ward, Da Nang city, had symptoms of abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and needed to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At this time, the number of people and vehicles flocking to the fireworks viewing area was very large. The working group used specialized motorbikes to guide and support vehicles to transport the pregnant woman more than 6km to Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital safely. Currently, the pregnant woman's health has stabilized.
Previously, at about 8:35 pm on the same day, a task force led by Senior Lieutenant Phan Huy Hung as team leader received information that a child got lost in the festival area. The traffic police force verified that child L.V.H, born in 2021, residing in Dien Ban ward, Da Nang city, got lost from a relative while watching fireworks and quickly contacted and handed over the child to his family safely.

On the opening night of DIFF 2026, in addition to the task of traffic diversion and regulation, the timely support of pregnant women for emergency care and finding stray children has contributed to spreading the image of Da Nang traffic police force being responsible, close to the people, and ready to support people and tourists in emergency situations.
