From August 25 to September 24, the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang City issued new business registration certificates to 175 enterprises, branches and representative offices, a decrease of 41.1% in the number of enterprises compared to the same period in 2023. In the first 9 months of 2024 (up to September 24), this unit issued new business registration certificates to 2,927 enterprises, branches and representative offices, a decrease of 9% in the number of enterprises compared to the same period in 2023.
The number of enterprises returning to operation increased by 3.2% compared to the same period in 2023, while temporary suspension registrations still increased by 9.5% compared to the same period. Since the beginning of the year, dissolution procedures have been completed for 535 enterprises, branches and representative offices, an increase of 9.4% compared to the same period in 2023, and the Business Registration Certificates of 992 enterprises and affiliated units have been revoked.
The total number of business registration records received and processed in the 9 months was 18,099, of which 13,574 were online (accounting for 75%). As of September 24, the city had 40,961 enterprises, branches and representative offices operating with a total registered capital of VND257,708.3 billion.
