On September 29, in response to the complicated developments of storm No. 10, the Provincial Police working group led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thai Hop - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - directly inspected and directed the response and recovery work in Thai Thuy commune.
At the meeting, after listening to reports from professional departments and the Commune-level Police on the damage situation as well as the recovery plan, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police requested officers and soldiers to uphold their sense of responsibility, proactively stick close to the grassroots, and closely coordinate with local authorities and functional forces.
The focus is on supporting people to repair their houses, clean up fallen trees, clear water flows, ensure traffic safety; at the same time, closely monitor the storm's circulation to take timely response measures.

In particular, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department noted that units need to carefully review areas at risk of prolonged landslides and flooding to proactively evacuate people and property to safe places; do not let isolation or lack of timely support occur.
Maintaining security and order must be associated with overcoming the consequences of storms, increasing patrols, promptly preventing acts of taking advantage of natural disasters to violate the law. At the same time, units are fully prepared with forces, means, professional records, ensuring the safety of documents, equipment and the lives of officers and soldiers in extreme weather conditions.
On the same day, in Hung Phu commune, due to the impact of storm No. 10, heavy rain caused landslides and localized subsidence of the National Defense route to the Border Control Station. As soon as it was discovered, Hung Phu Commune Police coordinated with the Border Guard, Militia and related forces to temporarily fill the landslide area, ensure the safety of the dike body, and keep traffic smooth.
The commune police also advise people to limit going out when not necessary, absolutely not to go to dangerous areas while the wind is strong and the water rises.
