Suspect fleeing from North to South arrested by Binh Dinh Traffic Police

    While on the run to the South, the suspect escaped from detention in Thai Binh and was arrested in Binh Dinh.

    On December 26, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Xuan Vuong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police, announced that the unit had just arrested a suspect who had escaped from detention.

    This suspect is Hoang Dinh Thai (49 years old, residing in Thai Binh city), detained to investigate the crime of illegal possession and use of drugs in Thai Binh province.

    After escaping from detention, the suspect traveled from North to South and possibly passed through Binh Dinh.

    Receiving information from Thai Binh Provincial Police, Binh Dinh Provincial Police Traffic Police Department directed Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station to deploy forces to surround and arrest the suspect.

    At around 6:00 p.m. on December 25, traffic police stopped a passenger bus on National Highway 1 (through Phu My district) for inspection.

    Identifying suspect Thai in the car, the traffic police arrested him and took him to Phu My District Police for handling according to regulations.
