Da Nang will manage Son Cha island and the area south of Hai Van mountain.
On September 11, the Office of the Government announced the conclusion of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on determining the administrative boundary between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city.
According to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law, the determination of administrative boundaries between Da Nang City and Thua Thien Hue Province is under the authority of the Government.
Based on the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the opinions of the delegates, the Appraisal Council agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to determine the administrative boundaries between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city in the direction: Thua Thien Hue province manages the area North of Hai Van mountain; Da Nang city manages Son Cha island and the area South of Hai Van mountain.

Scene of Lo River dike break
A large area and many houses were submerged after the Lo River dike broke in Quyet Thang commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province.
Recorded at the scene on the morning of September 11, the broken dike section is about 10m long and has not been patched yet. Currently, the water level inside and outside the dike is balanced.

Forecast of the end of heavy rain and flooding in the North
A representative of the meteorological agency said that heavy rain will continue in the North until September 12. Due to high water levels on rivers, flooding is likely to last at least the next 2-3 days.
