(PAPI is the provincial-level public administration and governance performance index in Vietnam).
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested to strive to maintain the contents that people rated highly as satisfactory; focus on overcoming the contents that people rated negatively, low satisfaction, and the contents that people expected to improve quality. Determined to improve the scores of low content indicators to be higher than the national median score.
Raise awareness among cadres, civil servants and public employees to strictly implement the regulations of the Government, regulations of the Ministry, superior agencies, directive documents of the City People's Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee on receiving, transferring, processing and returning results of administrative procedure settlement to people and organizations to ensure timeliness, compliance with regulations, fairness, equality, publicity and transparency.
In addition, continue to promote the results achieved in the work of building e-government and digital government. Focus on promoting the provision of comprehensive online public services, online payments, and actively support and guide people and businesses in using online public services.
Promote the application of information technology in management and operation; enhance the ability to connect and share information between agencies, units and localities.
The Vietnam Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) is a policy monitoring tool that truly reflects people's voices on the effectiveness of state management, governance, policy implementation and public service delivery by governments at all levels.
Da Nang 's PAPI index result in 2023 reached 42.67 points, an increase compared to 42.57 points in 2022 and 42.54 points in 2021, ranking 27th out of 61 provinces and cities (compared to 29th out of 61 provinces and cities in 2022 and 26th out of 60 provinces and cities in 2021).
