Coming from a poor rural family in Nghe An, Le Vinh Toan experienced many difficulties, hardships, and storms but still tried to overcome them all to realize his dream of becoming a singer.
Accordingly, he devoted much of his heart to the musical film “Mien Nho” directed by young director Huyen Vu. The content is about a boy born in a poor countryside, who was extremely passionate about singing since childhood. The boy had a sweet and peaceful childhood, but when he grew up, he encountered a family incident.
The story in the film is connected by music with folk songs, familiar songs and new compositions, especially the two songs "Nho cha mua khe ngot" and "Song que" composed by Le Vinh Toan himself.
Throughout the film “Mien Nho” which was broadcast on VTV1, singer Le Vinh Toan impressed the audience with his natural acting and emotional and sweet voice. The film “Mien Nho” recreates the dream and part of the real life memories, childhood and desire to become a singer of Le Vinh Toan.
The male singer also shared that he made this musical film with the desire to show gratitude to his hometown Nghe An - the land of folk songs, where his father, mother, and artists nurtured Le Vinh Toan's love for music.
“My mission is homeland music, depicting childhood memories, the feelings of children living far away from home for their homeland, especially their parents. That music is also the flow in me since the years away from home” - Le Vinh Toan expressed.
Director - People's Artist Viet Huong, Artistic Advisor of the film "Mien Nho" shared that "Mien Nho" is not a film praising the homeland's eye-catching and magnificent beauty, but the film is humane, with depth of human emotions about the sacrifices of parents for their children.
No one in his family is an artist, but Le Vinh Toan has loved singing since he was a child. Melodies and lyrics have a strange attraction for Toan. While studying, Le Vinh Toan tried every way to sing wherever he could.
Singer Huyen Trang can be considered one of the people who helped Le Vinh Toan have the opportunity to change his life. “Ms. Huyen Trang introduced me to Ms. Tan Nhan so that I could try my hand in a professional environment at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. I used to think that it was something so far away that I never dared to think about it” - Le Vinh Toan shared.
For Le Vinh Toan, if singer Huyen Trang gave Toan the opportunity to change his fate, then Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan was the one who had a great influence, changing Le Vinh Toan's fate and career. Currently, Le Vinh Toan is being mentored by singer Le Anh Dung at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
In the near future, Le Vinh Toan is planning to produce more new music products with songs that have a contemporary folk feel. He desires to have his own live show to sing and show gratitude to his homeland and parents. At the same time, he wants to help poor students who love music and have dreams but do not have the means to pursue them.
