Through this cooperation, Kim Long Motor is licensed to mass produce internal combustion engine axles and electric axles.
The modern production line will be built at Kim Long Motor Hue Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park, with a capacity of 80,000 axles per year, equivalent to 40,000 commercial vehicles. In particular, the line will achieve an automation rate of more than 60%.
This is a breakthrough step, helping Kim Long Motor increase the content of science and technology, improve output and ensure superior product quality, ready to meet domestic demand and international markets.
This cooperation also allows Kim Long Motor to become the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of Dongfeng Dana axles in Vietnam, helping to increase market share and best meet localization needs.
Notably, Kim Long Motor will export complete vehicles under the KIM LONG brand, equipped with a modern transmission system with Dongfeng Dana axle. This is the “key” for Kim Long Motor to open the door to the region and the world, affirming its leading position in the auto parts manufacturing industry in Vietnam and participating deeply in the global product value chain.
