Based on the situation, Vietnam team (first in group B) will meet Singapore team (second in group A) in the semi-finals.

The first leg of the ASEAN Cup semi-final will take place at Jalan Besar Stadium (Singapore) on December 26. After that, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will return to their home stadium Viet Tri (Phu Tho) to play the second leg of the semi-final on December 29.

In terms of strength and expertise, the Vietnamese team is considered to be superior to its opponents. However, Quang Hai and his teammates need to be careful and prepare thoroughly for the two upcoming important matches.

Meanwhile, the remaining match is between Thailand (first place in Group A) and the Philippines (second place in Group B). The first leg of the semi-final will take place on December 27 at Rizal Memorial Stadium (Philippines) and the second leg will be held at Rajamangala Stadium (Thailand).

Compared to the Philippines, defending champion Thailand has superior strength and is more likely to win a ticket to the final.
