The opening match taking place at 11:00 PM on May 15th is the confrontation between U17 Japan and U17 Tajikistan. The East Asian representative is showing impressive form with all wins in the group stage, and is considered one of the leading candidates for the championship.
Meanwhile, U17 Tajikistan caused a big surprise when they passed the group stage with second place in Group A, competing fairly with many strong opponents.
At 0:00 on May 16, host U17 Saudi Arabia will face U17 China. The West Asian team has home advantage and an unbeaten record in the group stage, so they are rated slightly higher. However, U17 China also showed their ability to create breakthroughs when winning a ticket to the next round even though they were not highly rated before the tournament.
