5 tasks sent to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress

On November 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province solemnly held the 16th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - attended and directed the Congress. Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; representatives of leaders of departments under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, departments, branches and more than 600 delegates.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Ha Thi Nga highly appreciated the preparation for the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, as well as the outstanding results in the work of the Front of Thanh Hoa province in the recent term.

In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has done a good job of social security, cared for people's lives, effectively implemented campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; ensured the progress of supporting the construction and repair of 14,780 houses, helping tens of thousands of poor people realize the dream of having a solid house to settle down and make a living.

Timely mobilize, receive and allocate support to people affected by storms and floods in 2024 and 2025 with essential necessities and over 272 billion VND; pay attention to the poor and vulnerable. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty alone, over 1 million gifts worth over VND529 billion were supported.

Social supervision and criticism work has been focused on and put into practice; the implementation of comments on Party building and government is increasingly effective.

I highly appreciate the serious and straightforward spirit of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee when pointing out 6 groups of limitations and shortcomings in organizing and implementing tasks in the past. I also highly agree with the 11 targets and 6 action programs with very specific solutions identified in the Congress's Political Report" - Ms. Nga emphasized.

At the Congress, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Vietnam Ha Thi Nga also suggested 5 contents for the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province to study and apply, such as: paying attention to the core political role, gathering all classes of people in the province; promoting the value of the historical land rich in revolutionary traditions so that the entire people unite in a bloc to unite with "unity - consensus - companionship", building Thanh Hoa to develop rapidly and sustainably; "taking the people as the center, subject, goal and driving force for innovation". The strength of the Front is the strength of the people's hearts.

Continue to improve the quality of social supervision and criticism, especially for those contents and fields that directly affect people's lives in the spirit of "clear work - clear responsibility - clear efficiency".

Innovating emulation movements and campaigns in a practical direction, associated with the goal of sustainable development and green growth of the province. Continue to promote the movement "For the poor - leave no one behind".

Support the activities of the Front Working Committee in residential areas in the context of expanded scale of communes, wards, villages and groups. The Front must create substantial changes in this term to meet the requirements of the new task.
