At the conference, the Executive Committee of the City Women's Union elected Ms. Tran Thu Huong, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Women's Union, to hold the position of President of the Association for the 2021 - 2026 term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, said that Ms. Tran Thu Huong is a cadre with good moral qualities, steadfast political will, and has held many important positions such as: Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the City People's Council, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council, Secretary of the Le Chan District Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs. In each position, Ms. Tran Thu Huong has completed her assigned tasks well, clearly demonstrating her sense of responsibility, scientific, in-depth and effective leadership methods.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city hopes that Ms. Tran Thu Huong and the cadres and leaders of the City Women's Union will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party Committee, government and people, raising the level of the work of the City Women's Union.
