On November 29, at the opening session of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025-2030, the delegates conducted consultations and elected a new Board of Directors.
The delegates unanimously elected 146 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term I, 2025-2030.

As a result of the negotiations, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc continued to be trusted by the Congress and elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term I.
The Standing Committee has 9 members, keeping the same number compared to the 2024-2029 term.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term I, elected 8 full-time Vice Chairmen, including:
• Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City;
• Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, also Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation;
• Ms. Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, also Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union;
• Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, also Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ho Chi Minh City;
• Mr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union;
• Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, also Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Association;
• Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City;
• Mr. Phan Hong An - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term I, with the new Standing Committee, will continue to carry out the mission of consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in the new city.
In the coming term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City sets out notable targets: Mobilizing support for the "For the Poor" Fund to strive to reach at least 650 billion VND. Mobilize support for the Fund "For the Sea and Islands of the Homeland - For the Front of the Fatherland" to strive to reach at least 200 billion VND.
Strive to achieve 95% or more of supervision and social criticism recommendations received, responded to and resolved by relevant agencies. Strive for 100% of the commune-level Fatherland Front to build a team of digital education students.
