On November 14, in Ha Nha commune, Da Nang city, the Da Nang Red Cross Society coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security, Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital and volunteer groups to organize a humanitarian program for people who suffered heavy losses due to floods. The total support value is more than 778 million VND.

In the program, 200 households in Ha Nha commune received gifts including 10kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodles and 1 towel. In addition, 500 boxes of instant noodles and 510 towels, 200 blankets, diapers for adults and children of all kinds... were handed over to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Red Cross Society of Ha Nha commune to continue distributing to households facing difficulties.
In addition, 430 boxes of household goods supported by ASEAN (including personal hygiene boxes, kitchen appliance boxes and essential items) worth more than 347 million VND were also given to households that suffered heavy damage.
In parallel with the gift-giving activity, the medical team of Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security and Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital provided free health check-ups, consultations and medicine to 200 people, focusing on common diseases after floods such as respiratory diseases, dermatology, eye diseases and chronic diseases. The total value of drugs and medical services is 150 million VND.

The program continues to affirm the core role, bridge and coordination of the Da Nang Red Cross Society in humanitarian work, while spreading the spirit of community sharing to people in flooded areas. The City Red Cross Society sent its thanks to agencies, units, businesses and volunteer groups for their support and contributions to helping people soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
