The Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee of Dien Bien province was established under Decision No. 76-QD/DU dated June 25, 2025 of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies. This is the first Congress held after completing the merger of 10 party organizations under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the province.
The political report at the Congress stated that in the 2020 - 2025 term, the previous party organizations have successfully completed their assigned political tasks, notably the work of propagating and mobilizing the people, effectively implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress.
Of which, the whole block has mobilized more than 460 billion VND to support the construction and repair of 12,200 houses for poor households according to Project 09; conducted 876 supervision sessions, 1,707 coordination supervision sessions and 75 social criticism sessions.
The Congress focused on evaluating the results of the past term's work, pointing out shortcomings, limitations and determining directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term, emphasizing key contents, such as: Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; improving the quality of supervision and social criticism work... The Congress also set out 23 targets and 15 groups of solutions to strive for implementation.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Mua A Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - praised the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee. At the same time, it is recommended that Party committees focus on leading cadres, Party members, association members, and union members to promote the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation"; improve leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization. Continue to improve the organizational apparatus according to the roadmap, improve the quality of operations of the front system and socio-political organizations in the new period.
The Congress approved the list of appointments of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies for 56 delegates attending the Upper Party Congress; and at the same time, approved the Resolution of the Congress.
