On November 2, a working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations led by Comrade Ngo Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations visited, presented gifts, and encouraged cadres, employees, people and students in Tan Yen commune (Bac Ninh) affected by storms and floods.
Participating in the delegation were comrade Tran Quang Dao - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province; representatives of the Social Work Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of the Phat Tich Charity and career guidance Center (under Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation); leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Yen commune.
On this occasion, the working delegation visited, encouraged and presented 100 million VND in support to Ngoc Ly Kindergarten (Tan Yen commune); presented 100 million VND to support Viet Lap Health Station with additional funding to purchase necessary equipment; presented support to 06 households whose houses were affected or damaged by floods, each family 20 million VND; and presented support with 500 books, gifts and some medicine worth 40 million VND.
A total of support resources worth over 350 million VND were donated by the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations and the Phat Tich Charity and career guidance Center (under Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation) to cadres, employees, people and students affected by storm No. 11 in Tan Yen commune, Bac Ninh province, including cash, equipment, school supplies, medicine; and funding to support the repair of houses for 6 families that suffered heavy damage in storms and floods.
It is known that due to the impact of the recent storms No. 10 and 11, in Tan Yen commune (Bac Ninh), a house collapsed; about 200 hectares of rice, vegetables and fruit trees were flooded; more than 370 hectares of aquaculture were flooded and severely damaged; more than 700 households were isolated and directly affected... the total damage value is estimated at about 138 billion VND.
