HCMC - People in Vung Tau ward have responded to the mobilization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, joining hands to maintain urban hygiene.

On July 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) said that it had received support from a large number of people in the area when mobilizing to carry out general environmental sanitation and urban beautification in the area.

Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward mobilized forces including cadres, union members, association members and a large number of people in the area to simultaneously carry out general environmental cleaning, remove billboards, and post illegal advertisements; clean up in many public and key areas.

The launch points are widely deployed in the area including: Vi Ba street area (Great Mountain); Bai Truoc, Bai Dua, Bai Dau areas; school units and all headquarters of the neighborhood and residential area in Vung Tau ward.

A large number of cadres and people have responded to the urban renovation and cleaning, thereby joining hands to clean up the living environment, gradually forming a civilized lifestyle in the community.

Mr. Vu Dang Khoa - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vung Tau Ward - said that this is a practical activity to contribute to urban beautification; uphold the sense of responsibility of the people in building a green - clean - civilized community.

"As a locality that previously enjoyed a very long beach in Vung Tau City, the government has paid great attention to environmental protection. The mobilization is carried out in the spirit of each house, each group, each residential area launching a campaign, and maintained regularly, raising people's awareness in maintaining general hygiene in urban areas", Mr. Khoa emphasized.

According to Mr. Khoa, in the coming time, the locality will continue to maintain periodic campaigns, combined with propaganda work to build Vung Tau ward to be more and more civilized and clean.
