On July 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province coordinated with Sun Group to provide support to the victims of the afternoon tourist boat capsize (July 19) in Ha Long Bay.
Sharing the loss with the victims' families, Sun Group has decided to support 10 injured victims, each case with 25 million VND; support 39 deaths, each case with 45 million VND. The total amount of support is more than 2 billion VND.
Immediately after receiving the support, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Sun Group organized a working group to visit, encourage and give support money to the victims being treated at the Provincial General Hospital. At the same time, the groups also came to express condolences and provide support to the relatives of the deceased victims residing in Ha Long ward, Ha Lam ward and Viet Hung ward.
For the remaining victims in the tourist boat capsize, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue to coordinate with Sun Group to quickly complete the support, ensure timeliness, the right subjects, demonstrate a sense of responsibility and deep affection for the families in distress.
