According to information from the Hanoi Capital Command, on the night of November 28, the unit transferred over 30 tons of goods including rice, instant noodles, warm clothes, blankets, medicine... donated by the people of Hanoi at the invitation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi. All goods are carefully packaged by officers and soldiers before transportation.
The convoy of cars departs on the morning of November 27, making a journey of more than 1,200km, bringing the affection of the people of the capital to the people of Gia Lai. To ensure absolute safety, the Capital Command has selected drivers with good health and experience in handling situations, while developing a detailed guidance plan, optimizing distance and travel time.
At exactly 8:00 p.m. on November 28, the delegation arrived at the Binh Dinh Youth and Children's Center, a gathering point for relief goods to be delivered to Gia Lai province.
Colonel Vu Dinh Hung, Deputy Head of Logistics - Engineering, Head of the working group, said that preparations had been carried out many days in advance. Each packaging is scientifically inspected and arranged to ensure safety and integrity when arriving at the receiving location in Gia Lai.
In order to carry out the tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat (in Conclusion Notice No. 99-TB/TU dated November 21, 2025) directly supporting Gia Lai province in overcoming the consequences of floods, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city have proactively taken action promptly, urgently, and responsibly with the spirit of "Hanoi is affectionate", "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country".
Previously, Hanoi City urgently provided 50 billion VND to Gia Lai province and recently continued to decide to support an additional 200 billion VND, to help people in Gia Lai province quickly stabilize their lives.
Along with supporting Gia Lai province, the Hanoi People's Committee has also allocated 10 billion VND from the city's Relief Fund to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promptly responding to the call of the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. On November 24, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong continued to donate 30 billion VND to support the provinces: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, each province 10 billion VND.
