Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; representatives of leaders of departments under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, departments, branches and more than 600 delegates.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province - said: In recent times, in addition to proactively implementing the arrangement of the apparatus, implementing the 2-level local government model and organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has focused on directing the preparation and successful organization of the Commune-level Fatherland Front Congress in 166 communes and wards across the province.
The 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province took place at a time when the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province are making efforts to compete and focus highly on implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
Faced with the requirements and tasks in the new era, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province continues to promote its core political role, practice democracy, strengthen social consensus, strongly arouse patriotism, self-reliance, confidence, aspiration, potential and creativity among all classes of people, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, join hands to build Thanh Hoa province to soon become a beautiful, civilized and happy province - Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh emphasized.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 28, nearly 350 official delegates attended the first session of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province, term 2025 - 2030.
At the first session, the Congress conducted the following contents according to the program: consulting to elect the Presidium and the Secretariat; approving the working program and the Congress regulations; reporting on the situation of delegates attending the 16th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; reporting on the synthesis of comments on amending the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure and the draft Political Report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the 1st Congress.
The Congress also implemented the process of consulting to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 16th term, 2025 - 2030; presented flowers to the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024 - 2029 term who have stopped participating in the new term.
