The Congress announced the Decision of the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to appoint the Executive Committee of the Can Tho City Farmers' Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 65 people; the Standing Committee consists of 11 people. Appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Su to hold the position of Chairman; Mr. Pham Thanh Hoai, Dang Tan Giang, Nguyen Qui Ninh to hold the position of Vice Chairman.

As of October 2025, the whole city of Can Tho has completed the apparatus with 100 Association facilities, 1,770 Association branches and attracted 268,557 members. The " Farmers compete in good production and business" movement has developed widely, attracting over 297,000 households to register annually, of which more than 190,000 households have achieved the title of good producer and business at all levels.
The Association at all levels has mobilized the establishment of 76 new agricultural cooperatives and 545 cooperative groups. Many effective models have been confirmed. Capital support activities achieved impressive results with the total capital of the Farmers' Support Fund reaching over 203 billion VND, disbursed to 806 projects.
In the 2023-2025 period, the Associations at all levels have built 146 " Farmer's Shelters" worth 7.3 billion VND, and at the same time supported people in the Central and Northern regions affected by natural disasters with over 1.7 billion VND.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union - requested the Can Tho City Farmers' Union for the 2025 - 2030 term to maintain its core political role and ensure connectivity and unity in the system. Play a good role as a bridge with farmers, organize a forum "listening to farmers". Gradually digitize the management of members, mobilize farmers to strongly participate in the "Digital crop education" movement.
Regarding economic development, the Farmers' Association of Can Tho City is required to promote the conversion of member thinking from agricultural production to agricultural economy, from small-scale to large-scale commodity production associated with the value chain. Focus on climate change adaptation models; apply traceability, digital maps and e-commerce to improve competitiveness. Deploy innovative models to replicate throughout the Mekong Delta.
Before being appointed as Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Can Tho City, for the 2025 - 2030 term, Mr. Nguyen Van Su was a member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Can Tho City.
