Petrovietnam supports 5 billion VND to help Hue overcome the consequences of floods

HUE - Petrovietnam donated 5 billion VND to support Hue City in overcoming the consequences of floods, sharing difficulties and accompanying people to stabilize their lives.

On the evening of November 13, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the working delegation of the Vietnam National Group of Industry and Energy (Petrovietnam) led by Mr. Le Manh Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members presented 5 billion VND to support people in Hue City to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Manh Hung shared his sympathy for the damage caused by floods and said that Petrovietnam always considers social security work an important task, associated with the responsibility of key state-owned enterprises in the energy sector. The Group wishes to join hands with the locality to support people to stabilize their lives after natural disasters.

On behalf of Hue City leaders, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong thanked Petrovietnam for their timely and practical support. He said that immediately after the flood, the city mobilized the entire political system to participate in overcoming the consequences, ensuring the safety of the people and restoring civil works. The city is committed to using the support source for the right purpose, transparently and transferring it to households that suffered heavy damage.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Hue City awarded a Certificate of Merit to Petrovietnam; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City awarded the Certificate of "Golden Heart" recognizing the Group's gestures towards people in flooded areas.
