On November 14, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society said that it had just coordinated with Truong Hai Group (THACO) to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a kitchen at Huu Khuong Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Nghe An province, contributing to improving living conditions for students in remote areas.
The kitchen project worth 300 million VND was built in Huu Khuong commune sponsored by THACO, an activity towards the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society on November 23 and Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20.
The school representative said that the new kitchen will help improve the quality of care and nutrition for more than 200 students at the school.

On the same day, Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society presented 113 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to support households in Huu Khuong commune affected by natural disasters, helping people soon stabilize their lives after prolonged floods.
On the same day, the Nghe An Red Cross Society mobilized DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group Joint Stock Company to support 50 million VND to build a humanitarian house for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (Hamlet 1, Hung Nguyen Nam Commune) - a household in especially difficult circumstances.

The above activities demonstrate the spirit of humanity and community responsibility of businesses and Red Cross Society at all levels in accompanying people in disadvantaged areas, contributing to ensuring social security in Nghe An.
