On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,4747 - July 27, 2025), Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach Commune (Quang Tri Province) visited, presented gifts and expressed gratitude to Mr. Do Nhu Quan (born in 193), a 1/4, war invalid, currently living in Trung Vu Village.
Mr. Quan is a veteran of Dien Bien Phu, who directly fought for national independence. With 70 years of Party membership, he is a shining example of revolutionary qualities, and is respected by the people.
At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh kindly requested to visit her health, share her family life, and affirmed: "The Party Committee, government and people of Hoa Trach commune always acknowledge the merits of the previous generation, especially the soldiers returning from the battlefield like Mr. Do Nhu Quan".
On this occasion, the Veterans Association of the commune and the Trung Vu village People's Committee visited Mr. Quan's house, organized a meal together, cleaned the house, and demonstrated the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source".
This is an annual activity demonstrating the local spirit of deep gratitude and gratitude to people with meritorious services.
