According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. on September 25, the center of storm Bualoi was at about 11.1 degrees north latitude; 128.1 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of the Philippines. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12 (118 - 133 km/h), gusting to level 15. The storm is moving west-northwest at a speed of 15 - 20 km/h.
According to Mr. Hoang Phuc Lam - Deputy Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this is the 20th storm in the Northwest Pacific region.

"It is forecasted that around the night of September 26, storm Bualoi will enter the eastern sea area of the central East Sea, becoming the 10th storm of 2025" - Mr. Lam said.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move west-northwest at a speed of about 20 km/h.
At 1:00 p.m. on September 26, the center of the storm was at about 13.1 degrees north latitude; 123.2 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of the Philippines. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 15.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will continue to move west-northwest at a speed of about 25 km/h and enter the East Sea.
At 1:00 p.m. on September 27, the center of the storm was at about 14.8 degrees north latitude; 117.5 degrees east longitude. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 15.
The storm danger zone is north of latitude 12 degrees north and east of longitude 115 degrees east. Level 3 natural disaster risk for the eastern area of the East Sea, including the northern and central East Sea.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the storm will continue to move west-northwest at a speed of about 25 km/h and is likely to strengthen.
At 1:00 p.m. on September 28, the center of the storm was at about 16.4 degrees north latitude; 111 degrees east longitude, in the northern and central East Sea. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12-13, gusting to level 16.
The storm danger zone is north of latitude 12.5 degrees north latitude and east of longitude 108 degrees east longitude. Level 3 natural disaster risk for the northern and central East Sea, including the Hoang Sa special zone.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm will continue to move rapidly northwest, traveling about 25 km/h.
Regarding the initial impact of storm Bualoi, according to Mr. Hoang Phuc Lam, from the evening of September 26, the sea area east of the northern and central East Sea will have strong winds of level 6-7, then increase to level 8-9, the area near the storm center will have level 10-12, gusting to level 15. Waves are 5-7m high, the sea is rough. Ship operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
Comparing the intensity of Bualoi and Ragasa, according to Mr. Hoang Phuc Lam, current forecasts show that the maximum intensity of Bualoi may not be as Ragasa.
"However, it is not possible to compare the impact on the mainland of Vietnam of these two storms. Currently, because storm Bualoi is still far away, it is not excluded that the impact of storm Bualoi is equivalent to or even greater than storm No. 9 Ragasa" - Mr. Lam analyzed.
