When will it rain in the North and end the dry weather?

AN AN |

According to the meteorological agency, there is a possibility that around the night of October 14, some places in the North will have scattered showers.

On October 1, a cold spell affected the weather in the Northern region and Thanh Hoa. However, due to the weak northeast monsoon, the daytime temperature did not drop too low.

In recent days, the weather in the North has been mostly sunny during the day. The highest temperature at noon and afternoon is generally between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius. The weather is only chilly at night and early morning.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the next 3 days, the North and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An will have rain in some places at night; some places will have fog in the early morning. During the day, the weather will continue to be sunny and dry.

Forecasting the weather trend in the coming days, the meteorological agency said that from around the night of October 14 to October 16, the plains and coastal areas of the North are likely to have scattered showers. According to the temperature chart, around October 15, the dry sunny situation may end in most of the North; temperatures tend to decrease.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that in October 2024, the average temperature across the country will still be 0.5 - 1 degree Celsius higher than the average of many years.

In November - December 2024, the average temperature will be approximately the same; in the Northern region, North Central - Central Central regions, it is likely to be about 0.5 degrees Celsius lower than the average of many years in the same period.

Cold air is likely to be active in November - December 2024, in which severe cold in the North is likely to appear from the second half of December (equivalent to the average of many years).

The Meteorological Agency said that cold air will continue to increase in intensity and frequency in January - February 2025, causing severe cold in a large area in the Northern provinces. It is necessary to be on guard against the possibility of dangerous weather phenomena such as frost, ice, and snow in the mountainous provinces of the Northern region.
