According to the meteorological agency, around October 19, the North is likely to have scattered showers causing a drop in temperature.

According to data from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (October 16), the Northwest region, the provinces of Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Bac Can, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen of the North, Central, Central Highlands and South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy to very heavy rain.

In the Northwestern region and the provinces of Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Bac Can, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen of the North, the North Central region and the Central Central region in the evening and night of October 16, there are forecasts of scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 10 - 30mm, locally over 50mm.

The Meteorological Agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.

Tomorrow, October 17, the above areas will have intermittent sunshine; while the main weather in the Northern Delta region during the day is sunny and dry. The temperature is quite high with the highest temperature around 28 - 32 degrees Celsius.

According to the temperature chart from the meteorological agency, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms over a wide area from October 19 to 20. The temperature will decrease by about 2 - 3 degrees Celsius and the widespread sunny weather will temporarily end.

The North Central region from October 19 to 23 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, and temperatures will also tend to decrease.
