Updated from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of storm No. 14 Fung-wong was at about 21.5 degrees north latitude; 119.5 degrees east longitude, in the northeastern sea of the northern East Sea. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8-9 (62-88km/h), gusting to level 11. The storm is moving northeast at a speed of 10-15km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will continue to move northeast, traveling about 15 - 30km per hour and gradually weakening into a tropical depression.
At 7:00 a.m. on November 13, the center of the tropical depression was at about 23.5 degrees north latitude; 122.1 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of Taiwan (China). The intensity of the tropical depression decreased to level 7, gusting to level 9.
It is forecasted that in the next 36 hours, the tropical depression will move northeast, traveling 25-30km per hour and weakening into a low pressure area.
At 7:00 p.m. on November 13, the center was at about 24.7 degrees north latitude; 124.8 degrees east longitude, in the sea northeast of Taiwan (China), with an intensity below level 6.
Warning of strong winds and big waves at sea, the northeast of the northern East Sea will have strong winds of level 6 - 7; the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 8 - 9, gusting to level 11. Waves are 3 - 5m high, near the center of the storm are 5 - 7m high, the sea is very rough. All ships operating in the above dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
