On June 9, Mr. Do Ngoc Hieu - Head of the Economic Department of Quang Son commune said that through inspection, Ms. Sen could not present documents and procedures related to pig gathering and transshipment activities.

In particular, the facility has not registered environmental impact contents as prescribed.
Previously, on May 29, Quang Son Commune People's Committee fined an administrative violation of 750,000 VND and requested to immediately stop the gathering and transshipment of pigs at Phi Gle hamlet.
However, by June 6, functional forces inspected and discovered that the facility continued to raise pigs in captivity at the above location. At the time of inspection, there were 25 pigs in the barn.
According to functional agencies, Ms. Sen's household's pig farming activities do not belong to the occupation registered in the Business Registration Certificate.
The process of keeping them in captivity generates waste, wastewater and odors, affecting the environment as well as the lives of surrounding households.

Quang Son Commune People's Committee requests business households to immediately stop raising pigs in captivity and not receive more pigs to the transfer point during the 30-day temporary suspension period from June 9, 2026.
If violations continue, new imports, increased herds or illegal operations are maintained, functional agencies will prepare dossiers for administrative violation handling, consider revoking the Business Registration Certificate and transfer the dossier to competent authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reflected that the pig meat gathering point located in the middle of the Phi Gle residential area operated for a long time, emitting odors and discharging waste into the environment, causing public outrage.
According to records, wastewater from the barn area flows directly into the Dak R'tih stream behind the facility.
Live pig feces and wastewater make the stream turn black, foamy, scum-filled and smell fishy, affecting the lives of many households in the area.
Regarding the incident, Mr. Le Trong Yen - Standing Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has signed a document directing functional agencies to inspect and supervise the remedy of environmental problems at the pig gathering point of Ms. Nguyen Thi Sen's household.
The Provincial People's Committee requests not to let the facility continue operating when environmental pollution remediation has not been completed and all legal conditions according to regulations have not been fully ensured. In case violations are detected, they must be strictly handled or proposed to competent authorities for handling.
