Hanoi area
From October 19 to 22, due to the influence of weak cold air, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, and sunny weather in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, whirlwinds and strong gusts of wind.
From October 23 to 25, cold air will strengthen, making nights and mornings cold and afternoons sunny.
Northern Region
From October 19 to 22, weak cold air will affect the North. This area will have rain in some places, light fog in the early morning, sunny in the afternoon; temperature will not decrease.
In the Northeast, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
From October 23 to 25, cold air will intensify. In the North, it will be cold at night and early morning, and in mountainous areas it will be cold; in the afternoon it will be sunny.
Central Region
From Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue from October 19 to 20, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
From the night of October 20 to 22, Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue will have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain.
From October 23 to 25, Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue will have rain in some places; in the south of this area, from October 23 to 24, there is a possibility of moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain in some places.
From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, from October 19 to 20, it is forecasted to have showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny during the day.
From the night of October 20 to 21, the above area is forecast to have moderate rain and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.
From the night of October 21 to 24, the area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan is likely to experience moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain. From October 25, heavy rain will gradually decrease.

From October 19 to 25, in the Central Highlands and the South, it is forecasted that there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with heavy rain in some places.

Oceanographic situation assessment
Wave forecast: From October 19 to 25, wave heights tend to increase in most sea areas. In the North and Central East Sea (including Hoang Sa archipelago), wave heights range from 3 to 5m; in the South East Sea (including Truong Sa archipelago), the Central Central and South Central coasts, wave heights generally range from 2 to 4m; in other areas, wave heights range from less than 2m.
High tide warning, from October 19 to October 22, the tide level along the Southeast coast will remain high. High tides occurring in the early morning and late afternoon will increase the risk of flooding in low-lying coastal areas, riverbanks, and areas outside the dykes in the Southeast and slow down the flood drainage process, in case of flooding on the Mekong River.
