From the evening of October 11 to the morning of October 12, the area from Quang Tri to Phu Yen will have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with rainfall from 30 - 60mm, some places over 100mm.

Warning of the risk of localized heavy rain (rainfall greater than 100mm within 6 hours). From noon on October 12, heavy rain will gradually decrease.

In the late afternoon and evening of October 11, the southern Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain with rainfall from 15 - 30mm, and in some places over 80mm.

On October 12, the Southern Central Highlands and the South will have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy to very heavy rain.

The Meteorological Agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.
