According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the impact of cold air, currently, the Northeast and North Central regions have rain; temperatures have decreased from 5 - 10 degrees Celsius.


According to observation data this morning, January 22, the Northern region continues to maintain low temperatures due to the influence of cold air. Temperatures in many places in the Northern region are commonly from 10 - 12 degrees Celsius, such as Thai Nguyen 10.2 degrees Celsius, Bac Ninh 10.7 degrees Celsius, Ha Dong (Hanoi) 10.9 degrees Celsius, Hung Yen 10 degrees Celsius, Nam Dinh (Ninh Binh) 11.4 degrees Celsius, Bai Chay (Quang Ninh) 11.2 degrees Celsius.
The mountainous and high mountainous areas are deeply cold, Mau Son (Lang Son) only 0.3 degrees C, Trung Khanh (Cao Bang) 4.8 degrees C, Dong Van (Tuyen Quang) 6.2 degrees C, Tam Dao (Phu Tho) 6.3 degrees C, Sa Pa (Lao Cai) 9.1 degrees C. Some other places in the northern mountainous region such as Moc Chau 11.1 degrees C, Mu Cang Chai 11.7 degrees C, Yen Bai 12.1 degrees C.

Severe cold will last until tomorrow, January 23.

The Central Highlands and the Northern Delta have the lowest temperature of 10-12 degrees C, the average temperature of 12-14 degrees C.
