To warn traffic participants, the Hanoi Department of Construction has informed the Traffic VOV channel about the depth of flooding and congestion (if any); at the same time, there are warning signs for flooding routes, clearly stating the maximum depth at both ends of the flooded areas.

For areas with deep flooding and no vehicles can circulate, road management contractors will arrange forces to guide and regulate traffic.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung, Director of the Hanoi Technical Infrastructure Management Center (Hanoi Department of Construction), said: "The Center has requested forces and vehicles to maintain drainage according to the on-duty plan; focus on cleaning, inspection, and clearance to ensure the flow is clear; operate floodgates and pumping stations to lower water levels throughout the system; and regularly update and report promptly according to weather developments".
