In May 2024, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Long An province coordinated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Thanh Hoa district and the People's Committee of Tan Dong commune to work and check the current status of environmental protection work for An Hung Co., Ltd. Shallow. The inspection team took wastewater samples from the 90mm diameter sewer of An Hung Nong Company Limited Branch discharging into La Khoa canal on May 3, 2024 for analysis.
The inspection results and wastewater sample analysis results identified 3 violations. It is noteworthy that this company discharged wastewater into the environment exceeding the technical regulations on waste 10 times or more in the case of discharging a wastewater volume of less than 5m3/day (24 hours).

Also according to the determination of the authorities, from December 25, 2023 to April 30, 2024, the total wastewater flow of An Hung Nong Co., Ltd. In addition to the above violations, this company has also violated environmental protection many times and was fined. Most recently, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that in June 2024, this company was fined 315 million VND for discharging waste in excess of allowed standards, overflowing into the pond of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, causing pollution (at the plot of land). land number 1806, map sheet number 6, hamlet 3, Tan Dong commune, Thanh Hoa district). At the same time, the authorities forced An Hung Nong Co., Ltd. to take measures to overcome environmental pollution according to regulations, to collect all wastewater overflowing into Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung's pond.
Faced with An Hung Nong Co., Ltd. continuously violating the law on environmental protection, polluting water sources, affecting people's lives and production, Thanh Hoa district voters recommended that functional branches be patient. decided to handle it strictly.
