    According to the meteorological agency, the North will continue to have showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain today and tonight, April 25.

    According to data from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, last night (September 24), the Northern region had rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain.

    Rainfall from 7pm on April 24 to 3am on April 25 was over 80mm in some places such as: Yen Minh (Ha Giang) 82.4mm, Vinh Bao (Hai Phong City) 113.8mm, Tien Phong (Hai Duong) 112.4mm, Dong Hai (Thai Binh) 146.8mm...

    In fact, during the thunderstorms of the night and this morning, many lightning strikes continuously. According to data from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological networks, thunderstorms are mainly concentrated in the midland provinces of the Northern region such as: Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, provinces in the Red River Delta such as: Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Hanoi and the Gulf of Tonkin.

    From 1:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on April 25, it is estimated that there were more than 23,200 lightning strikes on the ground and thunderstorms in the clouds, of which more than 10,400 were on the ground.

    The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting continues to issue warnings that on April 25, in the Northern region, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, some places over 80mm.
