According to data from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological networks, thunderstorms are mainly concentrated in the midland provinces of the Northern region such as: Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, provinces in the Red River Delta such as: Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Hanoi and the Gulf of Tonkin.
From 1:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on April 25, it is estimated that there were more than 23,200 lightning strikes on the ground and thunderstorms in the clouds, of which more than 10,400 were on the ground.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting continues to issue warnings that on April 25, in the Northern region, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, some places over 80mm.
