According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the Northern region currently has scattered showers and thunderstorms.

The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. The warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
Regarding the sea weather, the sea area south of the area between the East Sea and the South East Sea (including the sea area of Truong Sa archipelago) is experiencing scattered showers and thunderstorms
Forecast for the day and night of April 30, the offshore waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, the southern waters between the East Sea and the South East Sea (including the Truong Sa archipelago) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 6 - 7. All ships operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong gusts of wind and big waves.
