On November 29, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that functional agencies and localities in the province have been focusing on implementing flood recovery work with the viewpoint of giving the highest priority to the lives, health and livelihoods of the people.

The work of overcoming the consequences of floods has been implemented proactively and urgently, ensuring that people do not lack housing, food, or classes.

The health sector has required affiliated units to fully and properly use chemicals, medicines, equipment and medical supplies necessary to ensure disease prevention and control after natural disasters.

The industry also closely monitors the environment, water resources, food safety and public health conditions to promptly detect and handle arising risks.

Thanks to the synchronous and timely implementation of measures, the epidemic situation in the area has been controlled, and there has been no outbreak after natural disasters.

Local authorities, military forces, police, youth and specialized agencies have implemented many drastic and synchronous solutions such as environmental treatment, spraying to disinfect barns, controlling epidemics, burying dead livestock and poultry in accordance with regulations.

On the side of the Education and Training sector, they have urgently cleaned up fallen trees, garbage, and mud; disinfected the environment, ensured hygiene of schools and prevented epidemics after floods.

Educational institutions proactively arrange temporary classrooms, combine learning, develop appropriate compensation teaching plans to ensure the progress of the school year program, and organize psychological counseling for students.

Up to now, most schools have returned to normal operations.
