The weather in the North East Sea, Gulf of Tonkin and some sea areas continues to be unfavorable due to the impact of low pressure and cold air.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the tropical convergence zone has an axis at about 11 - 14 degrees north latitude connecting to the low pressure area. The location at 1:00 p.m. on November 2 was at about 12.5 - 13.5 degrees north latitude; 110.5 - 111.5 degrees east longitude. In addition, the increased cold air also affects the sea weather.

The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, the Gulf of Thailand, the sea area south of the northern part of the East Sea (including the special area of Hoang Sa) and the central East Sea area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. At Bach Long Vy station, there are strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7; at Ly Son station, there are gusts of level 7.

On the night of November 2 and November 3, the northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7; on November 3, it will strengthen to level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 5m high.

The Gulf of Tonkin will have strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 2.5 - 3.5m high.

The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2.0 - 3.0m high.

The southern area of the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the northern and central East Sea (including the special area of Hoang Sa) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind at level 6 - 7 and waves over 2m high.

On the night of November 3 and November 4, the northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 5m high.

The Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves 2.5 - 3.5m high. The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 3m high.

The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
