During the Youth Month, Hai Duong youth are promoting car washing activities to raise funds to help poor children in localities such as Kim Thanh district, Kinh Mon town...Many people have come to wash their cars to support the program and are happy at the "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of local youth.
In Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong province), the Standing Committee of the Town Youth Union has directed the entire town's Youth Union to simultaneously deploy the "Fundraising Vehicle Washing" model to donate youth works and help those in difficult circumstances.The image of volunteers in blue shirts enthusiastically washing their vehicles to help those in difficult circumstances has received enthusiastic support from the people.
In the first week of March, 2 delegation institutions deployed the model with a revenue of more than 10 million VND.The entire amount will be used to donate to youth projects and charity activities; give gifts to children in difficult circumstances, children with disabilities, policy families...in the town.
In Kim Thanh district, the Youth Union of Lai Khe and Vu Dung communes also organized a "Washing up funds" program to help children in difficult circumstances.The program has received the response of many youth union members and people in the commune.
Mr. Tran Van An (Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province) shared after bringing the car to the laundry: "This is a very meaningful activity, demonstrating the awareness and responsibility of youth union members to the community.I hope the model will be replicated in many localities to help more and more disadvantaged people".
