On February 3, information from Bac Giang Provincial Police said that at around 11:30 a.m. on January 29, Senior Lieutenant Luc Van Tuan - an officer of An Chau Town Police, Son Dong District and his family were on their way to celebrate the New Year. When they arrived at Thuong Village, Cam Dan Commune, Son Dong District, Bac Giang Province, they discovered a black leather wallet dropped on the road. After checking, they discovered that the wallet contained 4,680,000 VND (four million six hundred and eighty thousand VND) and some personal documents.
Lieutenant Tuan reported and handed over the wallet to the Cam Dan Commune Police, Son Dong District to verify and return the property to the owner.
Cam Dan Commune Police received and identified the owner of the wallet as Ms. Mai Thanh Ly, born in 2000, residing in Cam Dan Village (Cam Dan Commune, Son Dong District, Bac Giang Province). On the same day, Cam Dan Commune Police returned the wallet to Ms. Ly.
The act of picking up lost property and returning it to its owner by Senior Lieutenant Luc Van Tuan is a small but meaningful act, demonstrating the fine tradition of the nation, and at the same time contributing to beautifying the image of the police officer in the hearts of the people, which is very commendable.
