On November 28, Thai Hoa Town Police (Nghe An) said that the Traffic Police Team - Town Police had just assisted in bringing a male student who had committed suicide by jumping off a bridge to safety and then handed him over to his family for management and care.
Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on November 27, a male secondary school student in the area went up to Hieu 2 bridge (through Tay Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town) and suddenly jumped into the river to commit suicide.
After a few minutes of struggling in the water, the male student was able to swim to shore. Discovering the incident, Tran Trung Hieu and Dang Quoc Hung (Traffic Police Officers - Thai Hoa Town Police) were on duty passing through this area and saw the victim standing at the edge of the river, so they immediately went down to help bring him safely to shore.
After carrying the male student to shore, two traffic police officers warmed and encouraged the victim. When the victim’s health and mental state were completely stable, the authorities quickly verified his identity.
That is N.H.Q (born in 2012, residing in Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town). Immediately after that, the traffic police officers handed him over to his family for care and management.
