Teaching with love and compassion
Sincerity, warmth and dedication - those are the things that colleagues, parents and students mention when talking about Ms. Vu Thi Thu Trang, a teacher at Thach Khoi Primary School (Hai Phong City). At the age of 32, she has become a typical face of the young generation of teachers: solid in expertise, creative and rich in compassion.
Born in Thanh Dong ward (Hai Phong city), Ms. Trang chose the teaching profession as a fate that will last her whole life. With a Master's degree in Educational Sciences, she always believes that: "A good teacher not only teaches knowledge but must arouse passion for learning and kindness in each student." That simple philosophy has become a guideline in her career journey over the years.
On the podium, Ms. Trang always strives to innovate teaching methods, apply technology, encourage students to be creative and confident in expressing themselves. In her class, students not only learn knowledge but also learn to love, share and live kindly. She often tells small stories about kindness, gratitude to parents and teachers - so that each lesson is an hour to cultivate her personality.
Once, a student wrote in her diary that she wanted to be like her - know how to help others. Just one line of words, I feel how much effort I have been rewarded - Ms. Trang emotionally shared.
Not only is she good at her profession, she is also the initiator of many charity activities in the school: the program "Warm rice bowl", "Warm clothes - Sending love", donating books and school supplies to poor students, or mobilizing parents to participate in helping disadvantaged families in the neighborhood. She also directly opens free tutoring classes for disadvantaged students, spending time with each student in person in the evenings or on weekends.
"Some students have planned to drop out of school due to difficult circumstances. I go to her house, encourage her and teach her for free all year round. When she won the prize in the Vietnamese Primeval Night Contest, I burst into tears because of happiness" - she recounted, her eyes lit up with joy.

Spread goodwill in small things
Those silent actions have become a shining example in the school community. Ms. Bui Thi Thu Huong - Principal of Thach Khoi Primary School, commented: "Ms. Vu Thi Thu Trang is not only an excellent teacher, but also a person who transmits positive energy to everyone around her. At school, she is always a pioneer in volunteer activities, silently helping students in difficult circumstances.
She helps them with all her heart, not being discouraged or noisy. Students love her not only for her lively lectures, but also for her warmth, closeness and kindness.
In recent years, Ms. Trang has also actively participated in professional work in the education sector. She is a key teacher, a reporter at the provincial and ministerial levels, participating in compiling Local Education Documents for grades 4 and 5 - making a meaningful contribution to bringing knowledge about her homeland into lessons.
She is also one of the teachers selected by the Ministry of Education and Training to be a model teacher in the "Bright Eye - Good Learning" Project, demonstrating solid professional capacity and a spirit of continuous learning.
With those efforts, she received many noble awards: Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee for outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement; Certificate of Merit from the Department of Education and Training for outstanding achievements in excellent teacher competitions. However, for her, the most valuable reward is still the love of the students.
There are afternoons when they come over just to give me a wild flower and say Thank you. For me, it is a greater gift than any certificate of merit - Ms. Trang laughed gently.
Not only sowing the seeds of knowledge, she also sows the seeds of goodness. When her students grew up, they not only knew how to calculate and read, but also knew how to love, say thank you and be willing to help others.
At Thach Khoi Primary School, people are still jokingly saying, "Ms. Trang teaches with her heart and spreads love with her smile." In the eyes of students, she is a teacher, a sister and sometimes a friend - always ready to listen and accompany.
At the age of 32, teacher Vu Thi Thu Trang is still quietly continuing her journey of sowing words and sowing love. From blackboard, white powder to the values she brings to the community, she affirms a simple truth: "Teaching is also a way to do good deeds - because every sincere lecture can change a life".
