Ha Tinh Co Dam Commune Police have just verified and helped a citizen get back 20 million VND after mistakenly transferring the money to a stranger.

On April 18, Co Dam Commune Police said that the unit had just received a thank you letter from the family of Tran Van Hong (born in 1976), Ms. Phan Thi Ha (born in 1977, residing in Hai Dong village, Co Dam commune).

Previously, Co Dam Commune Police received a report from Mr. Hong's family that during the process of transferring money through the account, Mr. Hong had mistakenly transferred 20 million VND to some strange accounts and hoped the police force would support him in getting the mistaken transfer amount back.

As soon as Mr. Hong's family requested help, the Co Dam Commune Police quickly verified the information and identified the person who received the money transfer by mistake as Mr. B.Q.Q, residing in Thanh Son Ward, Uong Bi citadel, Quang Ninh province.

Co Dam Commune Police then contacted and discussed with Thanh Son Ward Police and directly contacted, propagated, explained and instructed Mr. B.Q.Q to transfer the amount of 20 million VND to Mr. Hong according to regulations.

Receiving the mistaken transferred money, expressing gratitude for the spirit and responsibility for the people's service of Co Dam Commune Police, Mr. Hong and Ms. Ha's family sent a letter of thanks to the Co Dam Commune Police force.
