On April 14, Hue Forest Protection Department coordinated with Phu Vang District Forest Protection Department to receive a red -tailed bird from Nguyen Van Anh Kiet, a student of class 9/2 of Phu Thuan Secondary School.
The bird is identified as a pista nympha, belonging to the rare species in Vietnam.
At the time of receiving, birds were in normal health. Kiet discovered birds on the way to school, then voluntarily reported and handed over to the functional forces.
Red -waisted bird is a beautiful appearance, about 16 -19cm long, prominent with colorful fur.
Currently, birds are being cared for and completed procedures to release the natural environment as prescribed.
