At about 3:45 p.m. on December 11, 2024, the Working Group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 8 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) led by Major Ngo Xuan Giang was on duty to ensure traffic safety on National Highway 1A (Thuong Tin District, Hanoi City).
While the Working Group was controlling at the Thuong Tin Station - National Highway 1A intersection, they received a report from the people about someone fainting in a nearby supermarket and needing assistance.
Upon receiving the news, the Task Force immediately sent officers to the supermarket to check. There, a young man was found unconscious on the floor, and people were performing first aid. The young man's family was also present. Through a quick exchange, it was learned that he had heart failure and had just had a sudden attack.
Seeing that the victim was in critical condition and could not be given first aid on the spot, the Working Group reported to the Unit Command and sent Captain Nguyen Sy Manh to use a specialized car and his family to take the young man to Thuong Tin General Hospital for emergency treatment.
After arriving at the hospital, the patient was promptly given emergency treatment by the doctor and is now out of danger and is gradually recovering.
The young man's family later wrote a letter expressing their emotions and sending thanks to the Traffic Police Team No. 8 for promptly taking their loved one to the emergency room.
