In 2000, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung started working at the Hai Duong City Red Cross Society. She has held the position of Vice President of the Hai Duong City Red Cross Society since 2008 and President of the Society since 2016.
In 2008, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung donated blood for the first time. Over the past 20 years, Ms. Dung has donated blood 43 times, including 4 times directly donating blood to save the lives of emergency patients at several hospitals.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung has mobilized 450 volunteers to donate blood. Not only mobilizing society, she also mobilized her eldest son to donate blood 10 times.
For Ms. Kim Dung, donating blood is like a good relationship. The recipient receives health and she herself feels joy and happiness when giving.
For nearly 20 years, on the journey of donating blood, Ms. Kim Dung has always had her family's love and support. Not only does her eldest son donate blood, but her husband has also donated blood many times to save people. Ms. Kim Dung's family believes that "To live is to give", so donating blood to save people is an act that brings happiness and joy to her family.

As the President of the Hai Duong City Red Cross Society, Ms. Kim Dung has always been an exemplary person in humanitarian work. Since the beginning of the year, Hai Duong City's humanitarian activities have reached over 5 billion VND, exceeding the annual plan target. Hai Duong City's voluntary blood donation work has reached 125%, exceeding the voluntary blood donation target assigned by the Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross Society.
