After receiving the prize, the lottery winner learned that Ms. Thuy Duong often supports rice with the poor, so she sent 100 million to buy rice to distribute to the poor.
Thuy Duong used all the money to buy nearly 8 tons of rice. After that, Ms. Thuy Duong took out more money to buy 8 tons. This amount of rice is divided into 800 bags, each bag is 10 kg. Ms. Thuy Duong has donated about 800 people to the disadvantaged.
In the morning, hundreds of disadvantaged people from all over the communes around Thu Dau Mot came to receive rice. The people who were given rice, most of them were lottery ticket sellers and bottle collectors who were old. There are cases of anchor being alone and not having dependent children.
"I returned to Thu Dau Mot to rent a room alone, selling lottery tickets for walk. Each day he earns about 100,000 VND. Income is only paid for accommodation, food and medicine when sick. Therefore, this amount of rice is very precious to me. I can use it for nearly 2 months" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Sa (74 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City).
