Quang Binh - On October 17, the provincial police said that Nhan Trach commune police had just received a thank you letter from the people for promptly arresting the gold thief.

Nhan Trach Commune Police (Bo Trach District Police, Quang Binh Province) received a thank you letter from Ms. Le Thi Lon (born in 1969, residing in Nhan Hai village, Nhan Trach commune) for the timely arrest of the thief and recovery of the family's lost property.

In the letter, Ms. Lon wrote that on July 25, 2024, while she was away, a thief broke into her house and took 6 taels of gold. After discovering the theft, she reported the incident to the Nhan Trach Commune Police and the Commune Police force promptly began searching for the perpetrator. After a short time, the police force arrested the thief and recovered the lost property for the family...

At the end of the letter, on behalf of her family, Ms. Lon sent her deep thanks to the Nhan Trach Commune Police force for their dedication, hard work, and not afraid of hardships to serve the people...

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 10:00 a.m. on July 25, Nguyen Thi Quy (born 2003, residing in Dong Duc village, Duc Trach commune, Bo Trach district) drove a motorbike to Nhan Trach commune.

When passing by Ms. Lon's house, Quy saw that the gate was locked but the door was still open, so he had the intention of stealing. Here, Quy sneaked into the house and stole 2 gold rings; 1 gold necklace; 1 pair of gold earrings.

After stealing the above properties, Quy drove his motorbike to many gold and silver shops in Bo Trach district and Dong Hoi city to sell the stolen properties. Quy used all the money from the sale for personal purposes.

Upon receiving the report, Nhan Trach Commune Police quickly investigated, tracked down and identified the subject, and recovered the property.
