On the morning of December 9, on Vo Van Kiet Street, Phu Thuy Ward, many trucks carrying relief goods were anchored for a long time. Each box of instant noodles, rice bags, and necessities was unloaded onto the truck.
The volunteers quickly divided the gifts into small pieces to send to the heavily flooded areas, where people were still struggling to clean up after the natural disaster.
Ms. Tran Xuan Quy - Head of SOS 86 volunteer group - said that in recent days, relief teams from Tay Ninh (old Long An area), Dong Thap, Dong Nai, and the old Phu Yen have come to Binh Thuan to support.
Ms. Quy and her group led the groups to severely damaged areas, far from the center, with the desire to "not let anyone lack food and clothing after the flood".

Many areas were slightly flooded when they saw the volunteer group coming, so they thanked and asked to give gifts to the more severely damaged areas. "The people say it is for the most disadvantaged. I feel sorry for hearing that - Ms. Quy shared.
While recovering from the historic flood, people in the old Phu Yen area left their socks carrying necessities to Binh Thuan. The wheat bins and bags of rice were sent quickly as a way to share a little warmth between the two lands that have just passed through the storm and flood.

The image of a relief truck with a Phu Yen license plate arriving in Binh Thuan moved many people.
"Is it still okay to bring the goods here?" - a resident asked in concern and gratitude.
At the gift-giving point in Ham Thang ward, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich, in Phu Hoa 2 commune (Dak Lak province, old Phu Yen area) shared: "The goods on the bus belong to benefactors, some of which were sent by Binh Thuan people on the flood day. Now I have to return it, not pay but share. The way people love Phu Yen people, now we love people the same.
Not only volunteer groups, but grassroots authorities also recorded great support from the community. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Head of Kim Binh Quarter, Ham Thang Ward - said that every day the neighborhood welcomes many relief groups.
"This group had just finished playing, but another group called to ask about the way. On behalf of the people, I would like to thank the benefactors, thank you very much" - Ms. Hoa was moved.

The flood passed quickly but left behind great losses. However, during the days of the water receding, humanity continued through each gift, each warm trip rolling towards the flood area.
Phu Yen - Binh Thuan, two lands hundreds of kilometers apart, once again stood up after natural disasters. And from all over the provinces and cities, love trips continue to head to Binh Thuan, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives.
From the evening of December 3, floodwater from the upstream of Song Quao Lake poured in due to increased overflow. Many downstream areas such as Ham Thuan, Ham Thuan Bac, Hong Son, Ham Liem communes and Ham Thang ward were heavily flooded. Some houses were flooded up to the roof, so rescue teams had to use water motorbikes to rescue people.
